CMPK Oral Gel

Nutritional Support for Hypocalcemia, Hypomagnesemia, Hypokalemia,  Target Species: Cattle, Sheep, Calves, Lambs

Composition (per 300 mL):

• Calcium chloride: 126.9 g (equivalent to 2 g elemental calcium)
• Magnesium chloride: 17.8 g (equivalent to 14 g elemental magnesium)
• Trisodium phosphate: 55.2 g (equivalent to 11 g elemental phosphorus)
• Potassium chloride: 1.15 g (equivalent to 6 g elemental potassium)

Indications:

• Prevention and treatment of:
  • Hypocalcemia
  • Hypomagnesemia
  • Hypokalemia
  • Hypophosphatemia
• Supportive therapy for pica (osteophagia)
• Prevention of grass tetany(magnesium deficiency-related tetany)

Dosage & Administration:

• Shake well before use.
• Hold the animal’s head slightly elevated, insert the nozzle into the back of the mouth, and gently squeeze the entire contentsinto the oral cavity. Allow the animal to swallow.
• The uniquely designed bottle facilitates administration.

Cattle:

• At calving: 300 mL orally, then once daily for 5 dayspost-calving.
• For high-risk multiparous cows:
  • Administer one bottle 24 hours and another 6–10 hours before expected calving, then daily for 5 days post-calving.

Sheep/Goats:

• Starting from the fifth month of gestation, administer 100 mL orally once daily for 5 consecutive days.

Feed Additive Use:

• CMPK gel may also be mixed with concentrate feedin cases of mineral deficiencies.

Precautions:

• Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Caution if intravenous calcium products were recently administered.
