سپر بودن ریاست شوراهای دامپزشکی برای حفظ استقلال و جلوگیری از موازیکاری
Dr. Reza Shabanizhejir, head of the Veterinary System Council of Hormozgan, criticized closed‑door decision‑making and demanded “honesty and clarity” in the profession’s management, calling for the system to remain independent from the state and for the chair of provincial councils to be held by private‑sector members. He warned that the ambiguous definition of “other ranks” in veterinary practice led to the removal of two council members and threatens a split between veterinarians and technicians, noting that roughly 50,000 of the 50 000 members have incomplete academic credentials. Shabanizhejir called for an independent expert review of current disputes, stressing that unresolved issues will deepen with the next election cycle. He highlighted serious deficits in financial transfers to provinces since 1400 h, lack of human resources for council duties, difficulties in obtaining aquaculture permits, absence of standardized tariffs for pet‑care services, and outdated regulations for technical‑health officers, all of which undermine the profession’s credibility. He urged cooperation with the national Veterinary Organization while insisting the veterinary system must not become a conduit for government mandates, and requested that any future delegations of responsibility be accompanied by adequate legal, financial, and personnel support.
