Composition:

Each 8 g syringe contains:

• • 75 mg Cefquinome Sulfate

Mechanism of Action:

Cefquinome is a fourth-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with a broad spectrum and bactericidal activity.
It inhibits peptidoglycan synthesis in the bacterial cell wall and demonstrates high resistance to β-lactamases produced by gram-negative bacteria.
This provides effective bactericidal action against coliform and staphylococcal mastitis pathogens.

Indications:

• • Treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis in dairy cows
  • Effective against environmental and contagious pathogens causing mastitis

Administration Instructions:

• • Administer intramammary into the affected quarter using aseptic technique
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect the teat before administration
  • Insert the syringe nozzle gently into the teat canal and inject the entire contents into the infected quarter
  • Massage the quarter gently to ensure even distribution of the medication
  • Repeat the dose every 12 hours as directed by a veterinarian

Withdrawal Periods:

• • Milk: 84 hours
  • Meat: 2 days

Contraindications:

• • Do not use in animals with a known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins

Storage Conditions:

• • Store below 25°C
  • Protect from freezing
